Ms. Baffoni is JCE's Chief Financial Officer and Office Manager. She is responsible for payroll and accounts payable. She maintains the general upkeep of daily office functionality and assists with the organization and execution of office events.
Mr. Casali is the President of Joe Casali Engineering, Inc. (JCE), a civil and geotechnical engineering firm located in Warwick, Rhode Island. Mr. Casali has been practicing engineering for 20+ years and has owned and operated JCE for the last 15+ years. Mr. Casali holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a MBA from the University of Rhode Island. Mr. Casali is currently registered as a professional engineer in the State of Rhode Island and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and has also held registrations in the states of Tennessee and Mississippi. Mr. Casali is a past president of the Rhode Island Society of Professional Engineers (RISPE), was a 40 Under 40 Award Recipient, and was awarded the 2002 RISPE Young Engineer of the Year award. Mr. Casali is married with two children and resides in Scituate, Rhode Island.
Ms. Paquin received her Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Science and Management with a minor in Geosciences from the University of Rhode Island in 2011 and her Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from New England Institute of Technology in 2016. Since joining JCE, Ms. Paquin has been responsible for assisting Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers with site design and planning, including parking lot design and CAD work.
With over ten years of drafting experience and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Building Engineering, Mr. Lavery has been involved in the design of several municipal, commercial and residential projects. Specializing in computer aided drafting (CAD), he keeps up to date with the latest software and technology. His experience includes site layout, including parking design and roadway alignment, zoning applications, utility research, GIS mapping and septic system design. Mr. Lavery is also a skilled graphic designer, adding insight to the presentation side of projects.
Mr. DeCesaris joined JCE in 2014 bringing over 7 years of geotechnical and civil engineering experience to the firm. Mr. DeCearis worked for a well-established geotechnical engineering firm in Massachusetts prior to joining JCE. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Rhode Island and is a member of the National and the Rhode Island Chapters of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Mr. DeCesaris has experience in subsurface exploration and soil classification, subsurface data management and visualization, foundation design and recommendations, construction management and contract document preparation (including specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents), performing geotechnical analyses, and writing technical reports. His geotechnical analysis and design experience includes slope stability analysis, seepage analysis, settlement analysis, liquefaction susceptibility analysis, and seismic stability analysis. Mr. DeCesaris also has experience in materials testing, drainage design, roadway and parking lot pavement recommendations, and performing flood / structural damage assessments.
Mr. DaSilva is a Senior Project Engineer and has been a registered Professional Engineer in the State of RI since 2017. He has more than 25 years of experience in civil / site construction work including site development, reinforced concrete and wood structures, utility installation, and resident project manager services. Since joining Joe Casali Engineering, Mr. DaSilva has been responsible on assisting Project Engineers with site design and planning including grading and drainage, stormwater runoff calculations and CAD work.
Mr. Hilbern received his Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island in 2016. Since then, he has developed extensive working experience in surveying and computer aided drafting (CAD). Mr. Hilbern is responsible for coordination and oversight of field activities, including observation and documentation of subsurface geotechnical borings and test pits. He is acclimated to all working conditions both in the field and in the office.
Ms. Casali is JCE's Business Developer. She is responsible for human resources and marketing.
Ms. Campagnone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and has been registered as an Engineer in Training in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2005. She also has over 15 years of experience in water utility design and supply planning including preparing technical reports detailing the current and future supply and demand capacities of various municipal water systems, preparing contract specifications and providing construction administration for water system expansion and improvement projects and performing extensive computerized hydraulic modeling evaluations for several municipal water systems throughout the state of Rhode Island. Since joining Joe Casali Engineering, Ms. Campagnone has been responsible for site utility design and construction administration.
